Southern Lady a beautiful fiberglass 1971 Morgan Out Island Aft Cabin with Pilothouse in good condition. It is not a walk thru. Great liveaboard with lots of storage space for long term cruising. Morgans are known for their shallow draft, great sailing and space. These boats are tough but graceful. Please note that boat was built in 1971 she is not a new boat and is built and layed out for serious cruising. Pictures are all current except the one taken in the water and is 6 years old.
Westerbeke 54 hp diesel, Northern Lights 8Kw Genset, Refrigerator , Deep Freeze, 2- 50 gallon water tanks, Roller Furling, Custom Pilothouse, Custom Sugarscoop Stern, Letra San, Electric Dinghy Davits, Ceatec Autopilot, Furuno Radar, 3 Burner Stove propane, Oven propane, Built in Space for Diving tanks in stern, Electric Windlass, Cherry and Teak custom cabinets, Watermaker (not currently on boat but does come with it), Map Tech Chart Plotter, Hot tub under V berth, Double V berth in forward cabin, Main cabin table drops to double and also has single on starboard side, Engine recently painted, New Exhaust Manifold, Aft Cabin Queen, Bottom has new pain. The hull has NO blisters and barrier coated in 1994, Plexiglass is new in Pilot House. Boat needs work as listed below: Rubrail needs refiberglassing, Top sides need painting, Deck hardware needs rebedding , Deep Freeze currently not working may need thermostat replaced, There is a bladder tank aboard but not hooked up. Hot Tub in the V berth which needs to be painted or gellcoated and the drain pump which is a 12 volt bilge pump needs work. 3 jibs and 1 mainsail all probably need to be replaced, Cosmetic work and CLEANING as she is sitting in a gravel marina, There is a nice hanging closet in the back and large set of drawers. Pilot House is great in poor weather and cool in hot weather, side doors can be folded back for cross ventilation. We lived aboard for 4 years and boat has traveled to the Florida Keys 4 seasons annually. We are the second owners of this boat and we bought it in 1993 and my husband refurbished it. He knows this boat and can answer all questions. This is a great boat for anyone wanting to go cruising, she has storage capacity for 6 months worth of stores, very roomy and comfortable and we have enjoyed all our time on her.
