Only 17 of these Cape Dory 24 Trawlers were built with 4 catching fire in the Cape Dory shipyard. It is a typical, ruggedly built, Cape Dory, heavy weather, full displacement yacht. Her design has been proven in all types of conditions in New England waters as a coastal and offshore cruiser. She was expressly designed for cost conscious cruising.
